About the Scholarship
Founded in 2001, Developing Solutions is The University of Nottingham’s flagship international scholarship program. The University of Nottingham provides international scholarships for postgraduate master’s courses to nationals of Africa, India, or countries of the Commonwealth. focused areas include engineering and sciences. candidates who have not previously studied outside of their home country will be given priority. Scholarships are available to cover either 50% or 100% of tuition fees. Students who want to make a difference in the development of their home country are encouraged to apply by 21 May 2021.

Nottingham Developing solution scholarship Eligibility:
You can apply for the Developing Solutions scholarship if you:
- are a national of (or permanently domiciled in)Africa, India or one of the countries of the Commonwealth listed above.
- are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes
- have not already studied outside of your home country
- are not currently studying at a University of Nottingham campus or are not a University of Nottingham graduate
- already hold an offer to start a full-time masters degree programme, including MRes, at Nottingham for September 2019 in an area of study within the:
- Faculty of Engineering,
- Medicine and Health Sciences,
- Faculty of Science,
- Social Science
- Students currently studying in the UK are not eligible to apply.
Application criteria
You will be asked to detail your achievement, your study plan, and the reason for choosing the University of Nottingham Developing solutions masters scholarship.

the scholarship can only be offered to candidates who accept the offer to study at the University of Nottingham Developing solution.
You don’t have to respond to your offer before applying for the scholarship.
After assessing the scholarship application you may be offered a scholarship of either 50% or 100% of the tuition fee.
The university will contact you as early as July to give you feedback on your application submitted for the scholarship.
You will not be paid a tuition fee scholarship directly.
the scholarship award will not be combined with another university of Nottingham Regional scholarship or any other International sporting Excellence award. however, you may also be able to receive a subject scholarship from your academic School, a sports scholarship package, or an external scholarship from your country where the combined total does not exceed 100% of the tuition fee this may include for example an award from the Nottingham University business school, government or other funding body in your home country.
How to Apply:
Applicants must first have applied for and have received an offer to study a full-time master (including MRes) at the University of Nottingham before they can apply for the scholarship. You can apply through the scholarships section of the University’s application system, MyNottingham. The deadline is Friday, 1 May 2021 (midnight, UK time).
